Opua is a port of entry for overseas yachts and a popular base for many of them during their stay in the country. Opua is home to a wide array of marine services – all within walking distance. These include travel lift haul-out and hardstand, catamaran haul-out, boat builders and riggers, painters, refrigeration, mechanics, electronics, chandlery, car hire, insurance and boat brokers, storage facilities, a laundry and a café.
Teneder storage can be found on the length of beechey street next to the Opua public toilets.
Pricing
Short-term bookings (less than 28 days): $18 NZD per day
Bookings of 28 days or more: $7 NZD per day
Availability Options
Please note that this mooring requires owner approval. Once you submit a booking request, the owner has up to 48 hours to review it and either approve or decline based on their availability and preferences.
Cancellation policy
We understand that plans can change, so we offer the following policy for cancellations:
- Free Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for free up until 7 days before the start date.
- Full Refund Minus Stripe Fee: If you cancel between 7 and 3 days before the start date, you will receive a full refund minus the Stripe transaction fee.
- No Refund: If you cancel within 3 days of the start date, no refund will be provided.
Please note that the cancellation period is calculated from the start date of your booking.
