Sheltered in most conditions you are able to row your dingy and tie up at the Russell Boating Club (open for meals and drinks Wed, Fri & Sat in summer from 5pm) and then it’s a short 10 minute walk into Russell’s town centre with all it has to offer including the Duke, great Restaurants and numerous shopping options.
25 minutes walk to Long Beach and a short taxi ride to Omata Estate Vineyard & Kitchen, Paroa Bay Winery, or take your dingy around the point and enjoy fresh Kororareka Oysters from the Oyster shop.
